We had the chef’s selection and left the choices to our wait staff with the choices. She did an amazing job as every bite was delicious! And the wine as well as was paired so well.

First and foremost I would like to say this was one of the best places I have ever stayed in all my years of travelling to various countries around the world. My mother and I were visiting from Ireland and unfortunately due to the train station being located at Wells, we required a taxi to and from the station. We were initially advised Uber would work in that area but it did not and we were told after this by the hotel that they were notoriously unreliable. We successfully managed to get to the property after calling a local taxi at the train station. We also ensured to arrange a taxi to take us back to the train station with plenty of notice. 30 minutes before the taxi was due to arrive, the hotel was called to let us know they would be a few minutes late only and not to worry as we would still make our train. 25 minutes later no sign and I spoke to the lady working there. When I asked if they gave an ETA as our train was booked back to Boston in less than 30 minutes, she was shocked and immediately sprung into action. She attempted to contact back the taxi company who now were not answering. She straight away got in touch with her general manager, Kristin, who had no hesitation to take us to the train station at Wells asap. We made the train with 2 minutes to spare and to be honest besides the helpful nature of the staff throughout our stay which I was going to highly commend, the actions of the staff and the lengths they went to to help us in our situation were amazing and I was so grateful for their kindness. Besides all this drama, we encountered various staff during our stay including the lovely Megan and Tasha. Both were super friendly and helpful during our stay. Breakfast was great each morning with fresh fruit, yoghurt, granola and a variety of breads. The offerings were very healthy and tasted great too. Also, the drink station was a nice touch and the evening salted cookies were wonderful. The hotel was very clean and tidy and in a beautiful location.

This was such a beautiful spot to stay in Bar Harbor. The staff were so so lovely, and made us feel very at home throughout our stay. The interiors of the property were so nicely kept, and very well decorated. We also really loved the afternoon tea and breakfast. Location was also great. It is on a relatively quiet street, just a short walk to the main st with shops and restaurants/bars. Would definitely recommend this place to others.

Es un hermoso lugar en Mt.
Es un hermoso lugar en Mt. Desert Island ( Maine ). Esta época del año es muy buena porque no hay nadie y se puede disfrutar de caminar y recorrer el lugar. Los paisajes de la costa son espectaculares tanto para hacerlos a pie como en auto. Recomiendo visitar el Acadia National Park. Muy pocos restaurants abiertos durante nuestra estadía, pero disfrutamos mucho de Jack Russells ( langosta, cangrejo y sopa de almejas de Nueva Inglaterra, todo de muy buena calidad) y de Choco-latte café ( muy buen café y bagels).

Me gustó la habitación, está muy limpia, muy bien decorada y con muchos detalles. Tiene cafetera dentro, vasos, café, infusiones, leche.Me gustó que hubiera un pequeño frigorífico en la habitación. Además la cama y las almohadas son muy cómodas. Me encantó también el desayuno, es muy variado y rico. Hay opciones para todos los gustos, fruta muy rica, cereales, dulces, huevos, bacon, salchichas etc..

The room was comfortable for 4 adults (two parents and 2 young-adult children). Our daughters even said that the hide-a-bed was the most comfortable that they've ever sleep in. You really can't beat the proximity to the beach. The grounds were very well kept, rooms were very clean. Small fridge, sink and microwave made breakfast and lunch easy in the room or at the beach. Need to bring disposable plates and cutlery. Bulk ice machines enable people to fill their beach coolers for the day. We didn't try the heated salt-water pool but it looked great. Bbq's available as well as a very clean laundry room. We appreciated the quiet hours after 10 pm. Definitely a lot of repeat customers, as many people were booking for the following year as they checked out. Always a good sign.
