Dette viktorianske bolighuset på 3 etasjer ligger på en bred og bratt odde midt imot Cowell's Beach. This is a hidden gem! It's a converted Victorian house. Our room was so comfy and spacious. They had fresh baked cookies when we arrived and more throughout the day. They also had a homemade breakfast- it was a breakfast quiche. It felt more like a B&B than a hotel. Friendly staff. Had a blast and wished we could stay longer. It it within a short walking distance of the Pier.

Located in Carmel, 100 metres from Carmel Beach, Carmel Beach Hotel provides accommodation with a fitness centre, free private parking, a garden and a terrace. the breakfast is quite possibly one of the most incredible things about this hotel. They provide it with your reservation, and it is cooked for you, offered in the room or at a beautiful outdoor courtyard on property with a fireplace. The staff was very helpful, and offered amenities like free rides up the hill to the center of town. This hotel is down by the beach, just a block away, which is why I chose to stay here vs 6 blocks up hill in the center of town. It is quiet, private, a nice sanctuary. they place a lot of emphasis on their spa and the bathrooms. Those latter are amazing, each (I believe) has a tub with bath salts, etc, plus robes, slippers. I did not try the spa, but it seemed to be a destination for many of those staying there. (We were there in the offseason, February). The hotel’s food is quite good too although we only had snacks and a couple drinks at their bar. I believe the rates are a good value, for what you receive.
