Mountain Edge Suites at Sunapee, Ascend Hotel Collection features spacious all-suite accommodation with a kitchenette and flat-screen TVs. Great staff, quaint and quiet location. loved the fireplace and the breakfast was a bonus. Close to the ski fields, lake and beach. We wish we stayed longer!

Although initially apprehensive about the strict short "breakfast is served from 8 to 9" policy, we ended up actually enjoying the fact that all guests were seated together around large tables at the same time such that everyone ended up talking and interacting together - a real get away from constant "phone and tablet silence". Breakfast interaction meant guests knew each other in the evenings and chatted in the lovely communal living rooms, aided by bowls of popcorn appearing if people were around.
