At first sight, the room looked higher than rated. The mattress was soft and clean. The restroom was spacious, and the hair dryer was much better than many hotels. I also love that they mostly have USB sockets everywhere so that I can quickly charge my phone next to me! The breakfast was also excellent. I love the crispy sausages!

Located in North Hollywood, Lexen Hotel - North Hollywood Near Universal Studios features a fitness centre and a shared lounge. Every room has a flat-screen TV with with cable channels. I had initially booked a two-beds room because I was travelling with my sister, who couldn't come with me at the end, so I had all this room for myself. I was going to a play at El Portal theatre, the hotel is at a walking distance from there. I even made a couple trips there to take photos. I loved the location and the attention from the staff; I arrived a couple hours earlier than expected and asked if I could check in earlier and they accepted. Looks like the staff also knows how to communicate in spanish so that's also a plus. The beds were very comfortable and warm, everything was clean. There's also the option to purchase drinks and snacks at the lobby. The morning I was checking out I left too late for breakfast so I wasn't able to try that. There's WiFi available but I remember I had to use my mobile data a couple times to have internet access, but overall it was good!

Exceptionally clean, very friendly front desk staff upon check-in. Quiet property and room was very comfortable. I didn't partake in the restaurant, but I would in the future as it looked delicious (Cuban food).
