Nice big rooms with a hot bath. Nice breakfasts. Tony the breakfast man is a HUGE asset to this hotel. He is friendly and helpful and nothing is too much for the guests. I think he really takes delight in helping people and waking up to a cheerful man adds that special magic. The reception staff are also A++++

Extremely satisfied with this hotel. Comfortable beds, clean rooms, friendly staff, delicious breakfast with lots of options like scrambled eggs, waffles, different kinds of toasts. Complimentary coffee all day, good location. We had a really good time there. Highly recommended in Valdez!!

She gave us lots of suggestions on activities and things to do. Great location for visiting and walking to stores and restaurants. Room was clean and comfortable. Restraunt in the hotel is convenient and good food.

It was the best place in Alaska we had a pleasure to sleep in. Very nice hotel, with the authentic soul, located in a picturesque lake shoreline. They are providing very tasty, complimentary breakfasts, you can also order other meals and drinks later. I promise you that a pint of beer on a very green grass in front of the lodge will taste like nowhere else. You can rent a free canoe and explore neighboring islands, water in the lake was warm so we enjoyed swimming too.
