She coordinated pick up from the ferry port, met me at the property to let me in and spent a considerable amount of time showing me where everything I needed was. Many places I have stayed offer a breakfast option…Marva took the time each morning to COOK me breakfast and bring it to my apartment! The space itself seemed brand new. Comfortable furnishings, solid WIFI (I am a digital nomad), a ton of natural light and clean. I have stayed all over the emerging and Caribbean world and have realized that insects and reptiles are always room mates. Not here. Not ONE ant, lizard, mosquito made an appearance while I was there. Marva’s property is located a 2 minute walk from two groceries that will have what you need for a long stay. The best beach on Union Island is a short 15 minute walk or less than 3 by taxi. If you are visiting Union Island, skip the resorts and stay here. You will NOT be disappointed!

Even including the price of the water taxi, it was still totally worth it. The staff was SO sweet- Milan and (I'm sorry I don't remember the Polish girl's name!!). We only got to spend one night here because of our tight trip schedule but we wished we had stayed way longer. So peaceful, so perfect having each room separate, the best views, and AMAZING food and drinks and staff. This is an absolute MUST visit for anyone who happens across Union Island. It's just non-negotiable.
