Situated 20 km from Cape Town, the elegant Steenberg Hotel & Spa offers a unique experience of heritage, fine wine and excellent cuisine. The entire experience exceeded our expectations. Let me begin by saying the staff is exceptional: very friendly and professional. Rooms are nice and comfortable. We had a little terrace where we could eat our breakfast. Pool area is lovely and was never crowded (December). Pool is heated. Plenty of Champaigne going around ! It’s nested in a beautiful vineyards and a park so ideal to just go around and chill with our 2 yo old boy. Both restaurants on the premises are yummy. I had a massage at the hotel spa and that was very good too.

Colona Castle is a boutique hotel occupying a mountain-side position by Table Mountain National Park, overlooking False Bay and the Cape Peninsula. The staff was absolutely amazing, friendly and super accommodating. Location for us was ideal as I function was down the road in town. The view from our room was breath taking. Loved the spoil.

9 Windsor House in Tokai provides adults-only accommodation with a seasonal outdoor swimming pool, a garden and a shared lounge. It was a perfect stay at Marc and Traceys house. We highly recomend to stay there if you want to explorer Capetown and its surroundings. Tracey and Marc are lovely hosts and careing for everything. They have many suggestions where to go an what to see and offer a great breakfast. We defenitivly will come back if we are in the region. Thank you for this amazing stay.

Lakeside Mountain Loft is situated in Lakeside, 16 km from Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden, 18 km from Chapman's Peak, and 19 km from World of Birds. Liked everything about the place. The inverter was an amazing addition as it kept the lights on and other connectivities such a Wi-Fi and TV.

Offering a garden and garden view, RAFTERS COTTAGE is situated in Plumstead, 13 km from World of Birds and 17 km from CTICC. This property offers access to a patio, free private parking and free WiFi.... Everything! The place is a peach - tick all the boxes! The blend of modern styling and rustic furniture is a certain winner. The place is quaint and oozes charm. Rafters (with real rafters!) is the plum in Plumstead, and truly feels like home away from home. From the moment we arrived, we were welcomed by the charmin Fiona and husband Rod. After exchanging a few pleasantries, our host, considered as they are left us alone to settle in - with a class of an excellent red wine. And then I saw the rafters - and fell in love with the place. I shall most definitely return to listen to the whispering in the rafters - at the RAFTERS!

Featuring accommodation with a pool with a view, mountain view and a patio, Plotsklaps Self Catering Cottage is set in Tokai. It's difficult to put into words the amazing time we had at Plotsklaps. The beautiful property is in a perfect location in the Tokai neighborhood of Cape Town, equidistant between downtown and all the attractions around False Bay and Cape Point. It sits beneath a picturesque mountain near many great dining and shopping places as well as the Constantia vineyards and Kirstenbosch botanical garden. Guests stay in a two-story guest cottage next to Dave and Rachael's house, both of which are architectural wonders with their high thatched rooves supported by exposed log beams. Our two kids (aged 9 and 11) slept soundly in the bunkbeds in the downstairs room, with their own bathroom. The master bed upstairs was very comfortable and the bathroom was very spacious. There's a full kitchen (with washer and dryer), dining room, office area, and living room with hundreds of TV channels and DVDs of classic movies. We really appreciated the welcome items of coffee, home-grown eggs, bread, milk, and delicious jams and rusks that Rachael makes herself. It was particularly nice to be able to wash our clothes after a week on safari. The property has a spacious pool and poolside pavilion with a barbecue pit and a large yard where the kids could play soccer and the chickens and cats roamed free. Dave's generator was much appreciated during "load-shedding," i.e., set periods each day when the government-run electric company turns off everyone's electricity because the power plants can't handle the overall demand. Dave and Rachael were fantastic hosts, attending to our every need and providing great recommendations about local activities and dining. They were extremely communicative, always happy to chat about where to go, how to get there, and what to do while there.

Featuring mountain views, Bicycle Lodge Apartment offers accommodation with barbecue facilities and a patio, around 13 km from Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Hosts were awesome accomodating and exceptionally friendly. They are very knowledgeable and could give recommendations on eateries and places of interest. Will definitely be back. Our 2 week stay was home away from home.

Featuring garden views, Almondbury Cottage offers accommodation with a patio, around 15 km from Kirstenbosch National Botanical Garden. Almondbury Cottage was the perfect fit for us. Excellent fully furnished and equipped house and garden Perfect location to the all sights in and around Cape Town, the beaches, the cape peninsula, wine estates in Stellenbosch, etc. and the airport Top service and advise Lovely family who owns the house and lives on the same ground. Terrific interior and outside area Excellent and protected neighbourhood We felt very much like home from the first second. We‘ll be back!
