El Drostdy Hotel ofrece piscina exterior, spa y restaurante. Se encuentra en la hermosa localidad de Graaff-Reinet, que alberga más de 220 lugares de interés histórico. El hotel es un precioso conjunto de casas, con sus calles, sus fuentes sus piscinas situado en el centro de Graaff-Reinet, pero convenientemente aislado. Las habitaciones que nos dieron eran de revista. Quizás un poco justas de tamaño, aunque ahí también residía su encanto. El servicio en general fue excelente y el personal muy amable. El desayuno fenomenal. El restaurante es una estancia magnífica, aunque la cena fue un poco decepcionante. Seguramente porque nuestras expectativas eran demasiado altas. En cualquier caso merece la pena alojarse en este hotel, e incluso hacer kilómetros para estar en él. Volvería sin duda.

Nova Boutique Hotel, spa and conference venue está en Port Elizabeth, a 3,5 km de Club de campo Walmer, y dispone de alojamiento con piscina al aire libre, parking privado gratis, centro de fitness y... Nova Boutique Hotel was a fantastic stay for my husband and I as we trekked around South Africa. Specifically, my husband planned a lovely adventure around South Africa and he booked Nova as surprise stop along the way! I was thoroughly impressed by our Nova host, Justice, who was extremely welcoming and pleasant. Similarly, the boutique’s accommodations were chic and comfortable. The check-in lobby boasts tall glass windows that lets in beautiful natural light for a relaxing ambiance and the boutique’s overall decor is a tasteful mix of modern-contemporary meets vintage. As a result, our room did not disappoint. Needless to say, we had a great stay at Nova and, with Justice’s helpful dinner recommendations, also enjoyed a splendid dinner at one of the local restaurants. My husband and I agree that we both have “unfinished business” with exploring Port Elizabeth and would definitely rebook Nova upon our return. We emphatically give this business a 10/10 and encourage others to book Nova for a one-of-a-kind experience.

This place is spectacular! I arrived as a solo traveler but I'm already planning to return with my husband and friends next time. The staff go above and beyond – from welcoming you with a drink to offering advice for a walk. The staff clearly like to make their guests happy and they were so fun to talk with! Dinner was exceptional; it was the best meal I had in South Africa. The menu has many courses and options to choose from. The kitchen accommodated by dietary restrictions without question – thank you! I highly recommend going for a late afternoon/dusk stroll and sunrise walk. It is safe; the animals keep a healthy distance. I saw impalas, blue wilderbeest, giraffes, and zebras on my walks. There is a great 5km roundtrip walk to a viewing platform on the back of the property - amazing views of the river and valley area at sunset. At sunrise, most of the animals were gathered on the front lawn. Other things you can do on the property: Take a dip in the infinity pool, sun bathe on the deck, request a drive of the property if you don't prefer to walk, read some books (they have many on wildlife and the history and culture of SA), sit by the fire, enjoy the cigar lounge, order a drink at the bar (it seems to have everything and you can ask for a drink anytime) and sit outside by the firepit. I wish I stayed for several more days to do it all!

The historic Royal St. Andrews Hotel, Spa and Conference Centre is located in Port Alfred. The bathroom was excellent. Great tub, and a very large bathroom.

Fantastic experience at Morgan Bay, so good we returned to M Bay, a week later, the day before we flew out from East London. As a bonus we got upgraded (Thanks you Nicola! at Reception) to a sea facing room next to the swimming pool. I think we were one of the few that used it that particular day, A tad windy just like home in Ireland. The facilities & room etc. were excellent & the staff couldn't have been friendlier. The Ernie Els red was sublime. Great experience also at the Spa, great way to while away an hour & feeling so refreshed after the pedicure & massage. Very nice touch having the Breakfast menu personalised with the guests names & a little info. on their stay etc. 10/10 for that. Next the food, breakfast was lovely with the freshly, a great array of food & the fried eggs done as we waited, a nice touch. Lovely slices of Cake to finish off. Enjoyed our snack at 6 in the bar before we headed in for a delicious seafood banquet with an array of fish & shellfish that was tricky to finish, but finish it we did, all washed down by the recommended white on the night by the attentive staff. Well worth the detour off the highway to this gem of a spot & all within an hour of East London. Do not miss the opportunity.
