The hotel has lovely doormen one of whom even drove us in the golf buggy to nearby Marble restaurant to ensure our safety. The room we stayed in had a seperate sitting area which was made up into a bed for our daughter, it had its own tv so she could relax with room service instead of coming out with us. The room is large with a seperate toilet from the walk in shower, great when 3 people getting ready in the morning. The room has a Nespresso machine which is always welcome! The breakfast included in our rate at the fabulous Proud Mary was perfect as it was a la carte for the main course with some juice, pastries and fruits to help yourself to. Could not fault Voco, location, the friendly and helpful staff and the freshness of the decor all made for a great nights in this city.

The complimentary breakfast is also delicious. I recommend the eggs Benedict. Everything was 10/10 and the perfect hotel close to the airport.

Would have loved it if they had lunch service and a wider variety menu for the evening, When very busy the hotel staff work under pressure and could definitely do with more hands during their busier times or when they are fully booked. The security is very good and make one feel very safe. the hotel is also situated in a good spot central to anywhere you like to go to. In fact I will just call it my second home when I am in Johannesburg.

Throughout I was in touch with Tadiwa, then Clive so our checkin ended up being smooth even though we arrived way later than expected. Come to find out it's also a short wal from the Hop-on-And-Off Bus stop, and the Gautrain.

For Johannesburg, I would stay here again. A true boutique hotel. Staff was kind and proactive. The room was clean and fully equipped. The on-site restaurant was a huge bonus. The food was excellent. The hotel was okay for 1 or 2 nights. Interior designs of the hotel was good. Had a restaurant and bar which the food was nice size portions. Your money is really spent for the rooftop views of Johannesburg city and skyline. It’s beautiful to see during the day and at night. Nice for memory pictures and videos.
