From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this place and the hospitality. The owner Justin greeted us warmly with a handshake, checked us in, and personally gave us a detailed tour of our room and all its amenities. The room is spacious, extremely well-appointed, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view. The grounds and surrounds are stunning, especially the beautifully serene pool area. Everything has been clearly well thought out -- an excellently managed place. We don't normally dine at our accommodations, but we made an exception here, and we were very glad we did -- the food was top notch. Breakfast was also really wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!

Hotel staff was very pleasant and accommodating (especially with our late night check-in). The room was spacious, clean, and beautifully decorated. The bedding was so comfortable, we didn't want to leave. Free parking in this gated accommodation complex. Everything you could want for your stay in Oudtshoorn - centrally located. Will definitely stay here again!

Situated in Loerie, 53 km from Port Elizabeth, Intle Game Lodge features a seasonal outdoor pool and views of the sea. Jeffreys Bay is 27 km from the property. This place is spectacular! I arrived as a solo traveler but I'm already planning to return with my husband and friends next time. The staff go above and beyond – from welcoming you with a drink to offering advice for a walk. The staff clearly like to make their guests happy and they were so fun to talk with! Dinner was exceptional; it was the best meal I had in South Africa. The menu has many courses and options to choose from. The kitchen accommodated by dietary restrictions without question – thank you! I highly recommend going for a late afternoon/dusk stroll and sunrise walk. It is safe; the animals keep a healthy distance. I saw impalas, blue wilderbeest, giraffes, and zebras on my walks. There is a great 5km roundtrip walk to a viewing platform on the back of the property - amazing views of the river and valley area at sunset. At sunrise, most of the animals were gathered on the front lawn. Other things you can do on the property: Take a dip in the infinity pool, sun bathe on the deck, request a drive of the property if you don't prefer to walk, read some books (they have many on wildlife and the history and culture of SA), sit by the fire, enjoy the cigar lounge, order a drink at the bar (it seems to have everything and you can ask for a drink anytime) and sit outside by the firepit. I wish I stayed for several more days to do it all!

Located 700 metres from Robertson Mall in Robertson, The Robertson Small Hotel features a restaurant, bar and 2 pool areas. Free WiFi access and free private parking is available. All the staff were amazing. The breakfasts and dinners were delicious. Dining in the courtyard was just lovely. Gardens were really beautiful and well manicured. Outside areas to relax in were lovely and very peaceful. We stayed for a 2nd night and were upgraded to a beautiful room directly onto the large pool. Facial in the spa was amazing and so relaxing. Would definitely recommend this small hotel to others visiting Robertson. Recommend booking one of the large rooms.

As soon as you drive into the De Opstal property you sense this is a different kind of place. The owners don’t just DO hospitality as a means to an end; they ARE hospitality embodied. It feels like it’s their life’s mission. De Opstal’s old charm accommodations are surrounded by magnificent flower gardens, fruit trees, and fields that are not over-manicured, rather reflective of the owners’ true love of nature and deep desire to create an environment for their guests that engages all their senses. The only downside was having to leave this slice of paradise.

You will be welcomed by the lovely Estelle and her beautiful Snauzer, Bella and immediately you will feel relaxed and welcome. The rooms are perfect, the swimming pool is just bliss and Estelle’s breakfasts are a real treat. A caring and kind home from home, I hope to go back!!! Also very well located with great safe parking.

Surrounded by breathtaking mountains and conveniently located in the center of Tulbagh, this boutique heritage hotel features a restaurant, tapas, and wine bar, spa, conference center, private... The service was exceptional. All facilities were well kept and clean. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Meals were well presented and delicious. Made it easy to get to the wedding in Wolseley. Despite being in town there were no loiterers, and we could enjoy our meals on the terrace. It was well worth staying an extra night,

Situated in Ceres, Houdenbek Farm Cottages has a garden, a terrace and barbecue facilities. Some units at the property have a patio with a garden view. The hostess was so friendly helpful. All the creature comforts were catered for.
