Bosch Hoek Golf & Lodge is located in Balgowan, 100 metres from Boschhoek Club House. Guests can enjoy the on-site bar. We spent a very wet weekend in the Midlands, Bosch Hoek was the ideal place, they have a lovely lounge with big fires and a cosy bar. The breakfasts were delicious, and we ate out at four different places, but their dinner was the best. The rooms are beautifully decorated and very comfortable, especially the huge beds (bigger than a king size). It was excellent value for money.

Situated in Nottingham Road, 13 km from Bosch Hoek Golf Club, Fordoun Hotel and Spa features accommodation with free bikes, free private parking, an outdoor swimming pool and a fitness centre. We went for a family wedding and most of the wedding party stayed in Fordoun's various accommodations (the self catering, the hotel rooms and the extra special rooms 19 - 23). The setting is very special - converted stone farm sheds, several dams, huge trees that actually do autumn. Staff were incredibly friendly and flexible eg staying up after 11 to give us hot chocolate in front of the fire. As a wedding venue it is ideal - we had a serious cricket match at the proper pitch in front of the reception hall, a great way to bring a large group together the day before the wedding. The chapel had views onto the mountains. A very lovely space to walk around day or night.

Nothing to complain at all. Best location, Best sea view, the villa ,,Out Look,, is big enough for big family. My kids enjoyed the beach most just at the door step. Eric is such a nice guy at the place. Definitely will go back to spend wonderful time again.
