Boasting a garden and views of garden, Duikersdrift Winelands Country Escape is set in Tulbagh, 2.7 km from Drostdy Hof. Featuring room service, this property also has a restaurant and an outdoor... From the moment we arrived, we were blown away by this place and the hospitality. The owner Justin greeted us warmly with a handshake, checked us in, and personally gave us a detailed tour of our room and all its amenities. The room is spacious, extremely well-appointed, and very comfortable, with a gorgeous view. The grounds and surrounds are stunning, especially the beautifully serene pool area. Everything has been clearly well thought out -- an excellently managed place. We don't normally dine at our accommodations, but we made an exception here, and we were very glad we did -- the food was top notch. Breakfast was also really wonderful. I can't say enough good things about this place!

The service was exceptional. All facilities were well kept and clean. Staff were extremely courteous and attentive. Meals were well presented and delicious. Made it easy to get to the wedding in Wolseley. Despite being in town there were no loiterers, and we could enjoy our meals on the terrace. It was well worth staying an extra night,

A great opportunity to experience a historic hotel with all the modern conveniences. The Royal is a beautiful, very well maintained hotel in the heart of Riebeek Kasteel. We stayed mid-week (as part of our first visit to the Swartland wine region) so it was relatively quiet. Staff were friendly and attentive yet professional, clearly taking pride in their work. We enjoyed drinks on the veranda in the afternoon and then a delicious well prepared evening meal there as well.
Beautiful new and modern place. Anna Marie is very friendly and helpful. For my next trip . I will definitely come back to stay here. Quiet at night, super comfortable bed and pillows ☺️
This was our second time staying at Saronsberg and we wouldn't hesitate to return. The setting is beautiful, and the cottages are very well appointed with glasses/kitchenware/crockery etc. The indoor and outdoor braai are a lovely touch, and it would be easy to self cater for several days without issue. Complimentary milk, water, tea/coffee and delicious Saronsberg olive oil and spices were provided. The linens and towels were of a good quality, and Charlotte Rhys toiletries are provided. The wifi worked well, as did the air con (bedroom only). The pool area was always clean and tidy, and was great for a dip. Pool towels were provided. Every member of staff we encountered was friendly and engaging (our housekeeper was particularly lovely). We did a 9 glass wine tasting at the tasting room which was a lovely, relaxed experience (the setting by the pond is just gorgeous). The cost was 120 ZAR per person, but this was waived if you spent over 400 ZAR on bottled wine to take away (which we were more than happy to do!). Food isn't served, although it is possible to purchase a small cheese plater when available.
Location, garden, pool, kitchenette, friendly hosts, all of it really!👍
This property is located on a prime position. The beautifull garden and pool and privacy was beyond expectation and we as a familly had a blast
Exceptionally lovely accommodation, very peaceful. Food quality excellent. Breakfasts were different, not your usual buffet fair and absolutely delicious. Again dinner was really good, a fixed menu but we didn’t have anything we didn’t thoroughly enjoy. The chefs do a really great job. Our trips out to view the reserve were very enjoyable, we hit a truly beautiful day so saw it at its best. Finally the staff couldn’t be faulted, what a team, they couldn’t do enough for us and everyone was so friendly and helpful
Everything Nature Space and cleanliness
Breathtaking views, sunsets. Kids loved the boat rides, and the play gym.
Raptor Rise is in a very peaceful location with nice views of the mountains. The sunsets ere amazing. If you want to get away from it all this is the place. The room was very clean and bright. Everything you needed although a little compact. There are 3 or 4 wineries within a 5 minute drive and also a brewery/restaurant. Everything very handy if you don’t want to self cater. There is a small bbq outside each room and also a communal large kitchen area. There is a small swimming pool. The chickens are running round in the morning which is amusing.
I loved the decor, the eclectic style of it all. And I really loved Sam, Tony and all the staff - everyone is so friendly! I will definitely be going back there! Great value for money!
Beautiful gem of a cottage in a French style, elegantly designed and decorated. With trees providing coolness as does the small pool. We loved it. Great views.
Stunning panoramic views of the surrounding mountains! The cottage had everything we needed and more - very well equipped kitchen, plus a few extras like a battery light to get through the inevitable loadshedding. Comfy bed, a lovely balcony, spacious lounge area, and being surrounded by nature.
we got an upgrade to a lovely farm cottage- súch a great trest for a hot summer day. the farm Cottage was spacious and had a lovely crib for our baby. lovely sunset atmosphere and great views! the common area was cozy.
Beautiful quirky tree house in an amazing location with breakfast served to the treehouse , just bliss
The view from our house, you really don't need anything else, very quiet, no cars, if you want to unwind, they have an indoor fire/braai, loved that there is no TV but yes Wi-Fi if you need, owners and staff always helpful, they also have a restaurant but don't offer breakfast, food is delicious
