This was one of the best places I've ever stayed in the whole of South Africa. The location itself was gorgeous. The view from our room, the spacious room, the outdoor shower, the tub and the fire place. It was gorgeous and exceeded our expectations in so many ways. The staff were so kind, accomodating and assisting us throughout our stay. We also went on a hike around the property and saw giraffes and kudus and water buffaloes. All in all, this was a fantastic experience for all of us.

We had an amazing game drive at a lodge nearby that was recommended by Peter and were thrilled by the presence of game at Steynshoop that we could watch from the Lapa area. Beds were lovely and comfortable. Highly recommend staying here for a relaxing break away.
