Montusi Lodge will always be among the most special places we have ever visited. The grounds are gorgeous and location stunning - remote, with birdsong, epic views towards the Drakensberg amphitheatre and spectacular skies. The food is superb with a daily changing menu and we looked forward to 4 course dinners each evening (and the wine list!). We stayed 5 nights and hiked every day. Before we got there, Dumisani was super helpful with pre-organising transfers to the Royal Natal National Park (about 25km) which has fabulous hiking. Shorter self-guided trails can also be done on the Montusi estate, right from the lodge. A really impressive operation for such a remote location and hosts Lindsey & Mick and their lovely team are to be congratulated. Thanks for making us so welcome and accommodating our thirst for the great outdoors!

El Relaxing Holiday Home es un alojamiento con wifi gratis y vistas al jardín situado en Phuthaditjhaba. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The place is spacious and clean. We had a bed for everybody (4 double beds in 3 bedrooms). There were 2 tvs both having DSTV and Netflix so that the kids can watch different shows to us. No load shedding! The place is set up so the TV's and lights continue to work despite load shedding. There is even a power bank so that you can charge your devices. Gas cooktop so that you can still cook as well. Plenty of cookware, crockery and cutlery available. We really enjoyed our stay, it was a lovely break away from home.

It has all the basics that you need. The staff are very friendly and very accommodating with running the generator during load shedding, etc. The view is spectacular and it was very safe. Highly recommend!
