The room was so inviting and comfortable. The mattresses and sheets were comfortable and nice quality. Our little attic room was as idyllic as the village. The breakfast was fantastic, and had a lot of variety.

From the minute we arrived we were welcomed with very warm hospitality -
The Bar Area was lovely and we had an arrival drink .
The room was comfortable and ideal for a night's stopover

Gardens & location were incredible. Loved, loved the 3-mile walk down to lower slaughter and back using the public foot path, etc. Loved just being on property & just enjoying, relaxing and soaking up the grounds, sunshine, flowers, lambs/sheep!
Food - both breakfasts & dinners in The Dining Room were fantastic. (Chicken, cod and mint risotto w prawns)
Bar - drinks and wine offerings very good.
The outdoor spaces were plentiful & comfortable. Liked talking to Mike the Gardner.
